Funeral & Cremation Service company seeks a Full Time/Part Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer. Requirements & Qualifications

  • Must have a MD, DC, or VA Funeral Directors/Embalmers License or the ability to reciprocate license from another State

  • Previous experience with SRS, Passare systems is a plus

  • Compassionate personality and funeral service expertise

  • Solid Work Ethic and a high level of integrity

  • Proficient with computers and technology with knowledge of MS Office Tools

  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently

  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Creative, outgoing, and energetic

  • Be able to lift fifty (50) pounds

  • Solid work history

CHAUFFEUR/DRIVER

Position Available

Our Transportation and Logistics company is seeking well-spoken individuals with a strong customer service background and CLEAN driving record. The positions involve care and service to corporate, government, celebrities, funeral clients, packages and other clientele. We provide sedans, limousines, vans, and shuttle bus service. Executive chauffeurs should have the following:


Clean Driving Record and Criminal Background

  • Age 25 years or older

  • Extensive Knowledge of the Baltimore-Washington Region

  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills

  • Ability to safely operate Sedans, SUVs, and Vans

  • Smart Phone

We have part-time and full-time opportunities available on different shifts and a variety of different specialized transportation areas.  US DOT (P) endorsement and PSC card holds may be entitled to signing bonus.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Position Available

We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist management and all visitors to the company by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, making reservations or travel arrangements, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.  Administrative Assistants must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Most importantly, Administrative Assistants should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as liaison between supervisor and others (i.e., departments, external contacts, vendors, clients, etc.)

  • Provide prompt and professional service to all internal and external clients.

  • Oversee/process day-to-day administrative items: mail, overnight mail, packages, expense reports, checks, and courier services, maintain office supplies, etc.

  • Performs filing, typing, data input and other clerical support to all other departments and personnel, as directed.

  • Coordinate and initiate meetings and travel arrangements for the Department. Arrange schedules for management staff.

  • Maintain supervisor's calendar, schedule meetings and conference rooms for Department.

  • Compose and/or edit/distribute letters, memos, reports and other departmental correspondence on time.

  • Provide support by photocopying, filing, and sending faxes as needed.

  • Pulls and put files to dead storage as required.

  • The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the positions role within the business unit.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates Degree in Business Administration or related discipline

  • Minimum 2 years’ office administrative work experience

  • Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Computer, filing, and 10-key skills required

  • Attention to detail is a must; strong analytical skills favored

  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary

  • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude

  • Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position

  • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player

  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

FLORAL DESIGNER

Position Available

Our Floral/Event company is seeking a candidate who has experience in designing floral pieces for all occasions.  Candidate would need to be able to plan, organize and design flowers as need.  Assist with order taking and fulfillment.  Organize and assist with daily inventory and maintenance of design studio.  Customer service skills are essential.


Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of floral design experience is preferred

  • Knowledge of color harmony, flowers and design are a plus

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

  • Read, write and speak English

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
